Our plane which will take us to Tokyo and Singapore
The flight path to Tokyo takes us over Alaska
Be sure to heed those important airport reminders'
Our approach to Changi A/P reveals numerous ships in Singapore harbor (900 ships come & go
from the harbor every day)
View from the hotel provides glimpses of Dutch architectural influence..
woohoo, we're going to Singapore's 'Underwater World', the largest aquarium in Asia :-)
Sooo excited ! Gonna dive in the aquarium with sharks, stingrays, and Gracie the Dugong !!
Stingrays were hungry. Wings, barbs, and tails were everywhere !
Fell in love with Gracie, the Dugong ! What a gentle and playful girl ! She let me rub her
tummy, kiss, and feed her. So sad when I had to leave..
Some sharks are just 'hams'..
Sky Train ferries passengers around Sentosa Island (fast !)
We encountered unique rodents..
Nights were magical with dragons..
Food vendors with dim sum treats, congee, sesame and fish balls, and the ever-tasty gelatinous congealment
... oh yeah, and headless chickens
'Merlion', symbol of Singapore, stands proudly over Sentosa Island. Merlion is half Mermaid, and half Lion.
Another iconic symbol of Singapore
We paid a nostalgic visit to China Town
Not certain about these things (mice with gold peanut feet), but they were colorful..

Clarke Quay – Refurbished riverwalk
area. Plastic jellyfish-looking roofs hang overhead.
G-Max Reverse Bungy - Singapore’s first extreme ride. You sit in a steel capsule,
attached by bungy cords to two towers. They tighten then release the cords, catapulting you 60m in the air up to 200kph.
More beautiful scenery on the winding walk around the river. Bars, restaurants everywhere - bungee towers
are on the right.
Night at Clarke Quay - We enjoyed dinner on the floating restaurant boat, and tried 'Singapore Slings'
:-)
